Nice day for a walk, with Remy this time. He’s enjoying all of the apparently fascinating smells on our route!
This is the first day with over 10,000 steps since last Wednesday. I was close on Saturday - spent 3 hours with a group from church doing roadside cleanup. (My shoulders were complaining about that this morning.) Today is in the 70s, and sunny! It feels glorious! I took Zoey for a nice walk to town, to go to the library. For us, “town” is about 2-1/2 miles away. Made for a nice step count, and I picked up a new audiobook while I was there.
Now I’m back home for coffee, and to resume cutting quilt pieces, and to watch the rest of the mere mortals finishing the Boston Marathon. That’s my favorite part.
Didn’t beat the rain, so I ended up doing my 10,000 steps on the treadmill. (I had about 2100 steps already when I started.) Slow, but my right knee protested when I tried to go faster.
Six days in a row I’ve managed to get over 10,000 steps for the day on my Fitbit! More than I’ve done (on a consistent basis) since January!
David’s mom Alice passed away this morning.
