It burns some calories, anyway, and I’m not eating while I’m doing it, so I’m counting it! Doing some big-time spring cleaning. We’ve been in this house for 20 years now, and it shows. Lots of stuff needs to be moved, re-arranged, sent to live somewhere else… and there is so much dust in some places (where things never get moved) that it makes something akin to caterpillars…
There is some fun that comes from this, though. The first is getting rid of those thicker areas of dust. The other is finding things you forgot about!
This is a high school graduation picture of my oldest boy, now 31. (Yes, I’m that old!)
He’s now a long-distance truck driver, and his mom is so proud of him!
I also found this. I apparently had the foresight to date it on the back - it says “Christmas 2001”. I believe the boy shown in the picture above gave me this for Christmas that year! In this picture my daughter, on the left, is 9; my oldest boy is 18 (just days short of his 19th birthday) and my youngest boy (now 16 and 6’5” tall!) was 4! This picture alone is worth all the dust and dirt and re-arranging.

Kalamazoo Marathon 'bacon station' bigger than ever with 30 pounds of cooked bacon awaiting runners -
The bacon station in the Winchell Neighborhood, which is at the halfway point of the marathon, will be handing out bacon to marathon runners Sunday.
I am just going to put this here. Apparently I should have ran the full last year! lol
Definitely won’t be running on Sunday!!
Or maybe I will next year…..lol, yeah probably not.
Oh, I wish my knees would let me… this is definitely something to work toward! :D
Had a lovely birthday! Hubby bought me a new Kindle (Fire HDX) a couple of weeks ago; yesterday we did some shopping & went out to lunch (it was a bit of a disappointment; another chain restaurant crossed off our list, but it was time spent with hubby and the teenager!). One of my siblings also sent me a Kindle gift card!
Today my mom showed up for a visit, with a lottery ticket (fun!) and a (small) homemade chocolate cake, and hubby, boy and I went out to a movie (the new Captain America) and had a great time!
I did get to the gym yesterday evening, and did 55 minutes of elliptical (level 6) - enough to put me over my 10,000 step Fitbit goal. No gym today - it’s my day off!
Off to the gym, for the second time this week, due to inclement weather. I really don’t like being outside in the rain, and neither do my electronic devices. Besides that, I have a new Star Wars novel to read on my Kindle, while on the elliptical!
Picked this up on a t-shirt today. Love it!
I like this!

Foursquare founder admits his wife @chelsa ran the Boston Marathon with a fake bib -
Team 5 Investigates has learned that marathon organizers are investigating several reports of counterfeit bibs being used in Monday’s race.
And neither sees a need to apologize or show any remorse/regret for this.
